Is it really the case that every time I want to check the time, I have to go back to the launcher’s home screen or lock the phone? Isn’t there any way to see the time in the top-right corner of the screen or in the top menu?
I can’t find any patch or setting that would enable this.
Slide your finger a little bit from either side, the current application will become transparent and show you your home screen complete with the time at the top of the screen, don’t release your finger, but slide it back to the edge and you’re back in whatever application you were using.
So, you mean “Accessible = Always Visible (as in the status bar like in Droid/iOS)”, right?
That could be patched, but I don’t need that - the slight peek action mentioned above is absolutely sufficient.
Cheers
I’m working on statusbar clock. Manage to push statusbar to be always visible already. The problem is that the is no space available for the clock to use.
Options:
allow user to hide some icons using Settings/Patchmanage view
show all icons in overlay/top menu, hide not important ones (which?) in collapsed
redo battery icon and alarm icon (the battery icon is uselessly huge, I’m thinking about collapsing the square icon and % into one; alarm icon could be merged with clock)
