[5.1.0.11] Media subsystem (?) crashes apps when playing animations

OS VERSION: 5.1.0.11
HARDWARE: Sony Xperia X10 III
UI LANGUAGE: German
REGRESSION: Yes

DESCRIPTION:

When playing some animations (not all!) with Fernschreiber, the app crashes due to an error which seems to be related to the Android adaptation. This one is new in 5.1.0.11, no such crashes happened with any of the previous SFOS versions, the app is untouched since end of 2023!

postPendingRepliesAndDeferredMessages: mReplyID == null, from kWhatError:STOPPING following kWhatError:STOPPING

PRECONDITIONS:

Have Fernschreiber 0.17 and SFOS 5.1.0.11 installed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Navigate to a chat with animated GIFs, animations in it.

  2. Wait until the animation/video has ended

EXPECTED RESULT:

The app behaves normally as in all the previous releases.

ACTUAL RESULT:

The app crashes, unable to handle from the app context.
