[5.0.72] [Xperia 10 II] Phone network not connecting in roaming

DESCRIPTION:

the phone is unable to connect to mobile network.
on the logs, I get

PRECONDITIONS:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. have phone in roaming on vodafone network, with a non-vodafone sim card

  2. try to call (vodafone it network)

I am roaming in Spain with my German Vodafone SIM at this moment. I did so before in UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Slowakia, Tchech Republic, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Norway, Austria, Switzerland and maybe a few other countries.

Please be more specific.

I also used to roam with the same sim on the same counry (Italy). This is something that started recently only; my sim car is _roaming_ on th vodafone net, its not a vodafone sim.

Last time in Italy was 2021. Maybe things have changed since then.

To clarify: that log snippet might or might not be related to your problem; we need more logs.

And I just saw that @tortoisedoc uses a 10 II. I am sorry I didn’t realize that before. Mine is a 10 III.

Well well Ill be damned; now that everything is ready for tracing ofono logs, the issue disappeared / cannot.be reproduced anymore, meaning, calls work correctly now.

Maybe something related to roaming?
