DESCRIPTION:
Keyboard layout (language) can be changed flicking the keyboard sideways, making the layout “next to it” slide into view, replacing the keyboard. This functionality can get stuck, resulting in sticky non-changing keyboard that is hard to get back to normal from.
PRECONDITIONS:
Unknown - it happens when it happens…
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Try to change the layout swiping
or
- Try to change layout by long-pressing space bar
EXPECTED RESULT:
The layout changes; the new layout slides into view.
ACTUAL RESULT:
Either
- The keyboard slides left/right revealing black background and staying half off screen
or
- Nothing happens
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Here is a screenshot of the bug in action… The background is not black, but transparent - in the phone it displays a black. This bug has occurred three times after the 4.1.0 upgrade, and never before. Sometimes it can be “broken out of” by rotating the phone a few times and trying to change layouts; at some point the switch succeeds and the issue goes away.
