[4.0.1.48] Slow wifi

REGRESSION: (compared to previous public release: Yes, No, ?): yes

DESCRIPTION:

Wifi is extremely slow since the update from 4.0.1.45. I tried different Wifi’s it’s all the same. No difference though between SFOS or Android apps. Sometimes it’s better for some minutes, when I restarted the phone. Tried “Nofono” as this helped some builds ago, but it seems to be outdated, no reaction.

  1. Switch on Wifi
  2. Open an app

Should load

ACTUAL RESULT:

Doesn’t load or loads extremely slow

I can’t reproduce. My XA2 Ultra on 4.0.1.48 consistently maxes out my connection (230mbit).

Yes, we need a bit more information… at least some journal output as maybe your device is having some sort of problems.
Have you tried deleting and recreating your wlan network?

The word ‘slow’ leaves the problem unclear.
Please give some values (Mbit/s) and explain how it was measured.
What was the speed with your XA2/3.4.0.24?
Comparison with other devices (e.g. Android phone) would also be interesting.
