10V Exchange install failing - repo issue?

Hi. I posted yesterday down in a 10V Experience thread, but I feel this is perhaps not a 10V issue.

I have a 10iii. My phone is the baseline that works. My son just got a 10V. It has 5.0.0.68 on it, and I’m logged into it with my Jolla account with licenses going back to Xperia X and a new one purchased for good measure.
AAS successfully installed.

When I go into System > About product, then look at Add-ons, it lists Microsoft Exchange, Android App Support.

When I try to install Exchange, a circle spins, and the message at the top of the Store app reads “Waiting”. Error messages eventually appear.

Today’s update is that I enabled Developer Tools, SSHed into it, then ran ssu lr

I did the same on my 10iii. There is a difference in the following repos:

10V:

sailfish-eas :///features/5.0.0.68/sailfish-eas/aarch64/

xt9 :///features/5.0.0.68/xt9/aarch64/

on my 10iii:

sailfish-eas https://store-repository.jolla.com/features/5.0.0.68/sailfish-eas/aarch64/

xt9 https://store-repository.jolla.com/features/5.0.0.68/xt9/aarch64/

I was lead to look at the repos because running journalctl -f then trying to install Exchange again, I noted:

packagekitd: sailfish-eas: ……Valid metadata not found at specified URL

Same messages for xt9

I know just enough to be dangerous. I tried to update the repo, or rr, then ar, but I was not allowed to remove a system repo.

Does someone know how to correct these repos so I can get this installed? Thank you.

Updated info: I ended up probably doing something I should not have to do, but it solved my issue.

I noted that on my 10iii, /var/cache/ssu/features.ini listed my repos differently for sailfish-eas and xt9 than on the 10v.

I used vi to edit the file on the 10v and saved it, rebooted the phone, SSHed into it again, ran journalctl -f | grep eas and watched as I launched Store > Exchange and installed it. The installation was successful!!!

I matched the xt9 settings since they were a bit off, but IIRC, I’ve read somewhere else that xt9 isn’t available on 10v due to the company that made xt9 was acquired by Microsoft or something, and the legacy agreement was with Jolla and now the corporation has changed and no new devices can have that. Something to that effect, so I did not really expect xt9 functionality on the 10v. But hey, Exchange is there now and I can add an account and see Exchange and Microsoft 365 as options.

I leave this here for posterity in the event someone else encounters this challenge.

Cheers!
