the initial version of this bug report was created using Bugger 0.9.8+git1

Did collect ofono logs, if someone tells me how to upload them here or somewhere , will do so

18:31:46.419 slot1 > [00000649] 141 getSignalStrengthResponse_1_2 INVALID_RESPONSE

Surely this bug reports section is not for community ports?

… I rather rephrase that to:

IMO, the bug report tag at FSO is not intended for community port specific issues.

P.S.: Such issues are best reported on the issue tracker at the source code repository of an SFOS community port.

i fear that yggrasil is in gitlab :frowning:

can i somehow reset the configuration, that i did receive from the operator ?
or delete it that a new connection downloads it again ?

honestly see no reason why not use the template that fills out details like os version etc.
you are correct the section might not fit, but else …

@piggz ping. where would you like @pawel.spoon 's ofono logs?

Well, yes and no. Some things are specific to ports and some are not. Since I debug across both sony devices (licensed) and others (FP2, Volla) and this kind of testing can lead to interesting information I wouldn’t exclude ports. I assume that having hardware that is NOT jolla supported will lead to the bug not being tracked.

Edit: as a case in point: this bug is probably TWO bugs. WebView produces incorrect screen.height, window.innerHeight values

One of these bugs (the main issue reported) was discovered on a volla phone. I noted it was reproducible on the sony devices. There is an adjacent/related phenomena that is probably volla specific.

Hmm, i know the cause of this bug… let me check some things

Agreed. I prefer community port bugs to go against the -config repo on github.

@pawel.spoon can you paste /etc/ofono/ril_subscriptions.conf
and
zypper se -s ofono

I did create an issue in gitlab. Hope that is ok

Errr, and that would be which repo?

Ah, ok. Where I’d submitted the sim card issue. Thanks.

Erm, how have you ended up with ofono-binder-plugin, and not ofono-ril-binder-plugin? The latter is explicity required in the device pattern! droid-config-yggdrasil/patterns-sailfish-device-adaptation-yggdrasil.inc at hybris-17 · HelloVolla/droid-config-yggdrasil · GitHub

Anyway, try
zypper in ofono-ril-binder-plugin
and see if it fixes it

actually, if this is GS290, it would be the droid-config-ygggdrasil repo in the same project

Ah. I had an issue with the adaption pkg not installing (which broke browser). on the gs290.

EDIT: ah, mine was upgrading to .72 on the gs290 and patterns-sailfish-device-configuration-common not having installed. Hmmm.
